  1. Some have answered “Mono only”, however, this may (or may not(?)) have been true 3 months ago when that answer was posted but it is NOT true now. You CAN, indeed, hook 1 device (music or audio source such as your Bluetooth enabled phone or tablet, etc.) up to two (2) separate HK Studio 4 speakers via a Bluetooth connection and assign 1 HK STUDIO 4 SPEAKER to the receive and output the LEFT channel and the 2nd HK STUDIO 4 SPEAKER to receive and output the RIGHT channel, and thus achieving a true stereo field scenario. Note that the only way I could achieve this was from using the “HK Connect” app downloaded from the Apple App Store (I’m sure it’s available for Android as well). You can also listen to two(2) (or up to 100) HK STUDIO 4 SPEAKERS in MONO (that being a combined left and right channel with mono output (Or in other words, each speaker will be broadcasting both the left and right channel of a song recorded in stereo—same as it does when you’re just using one HK STUDIO 4 SPEAKER only with multiple speakers playing in perfect synchronization)) in what HK has called “Party Mode”. So there’s “Stereo Mode” (with 2 speakers max) or “Party Mode” (with up to 100 speakers in mono) available.
